BIPOC Curatorial Mentorship Program 2022 Application

Heaven Gallery and Equity Arts are excited to partner to launch Heaven Gallery’s inaugural BIPOC Curatorial Mentorship Program!

The BIPOC Curatorial Mentorship Program is a 9 month program that will pair emerging BIPOC curators with established curators who will provide one-on-one training for mentees. Each mentees training will culminate in the production of an exhibition at Heaven Gallery in December of 2022. The program will run from March 2022 - January 2023. Each participant will gain hands-on experience in a contemporary art gallery, receive professional development, and deepen their curatorial practice.

The program welcomes emerging curators who identify as BIPOC. Previous arts education is not required.  Individuals who are interested in pursuing a specific exhibition topic are especially encouraged to apply.
