When someone submits your Google Form, you want a PDF of their filled form in the right Google Drive folder, laid out like your own form. A Google Form only keeps the answers. So you print each response as a PDF in Google's layout, download it and upload it to Drive yourself, one response at a time. Formesign uses your own form, uploaded as a PDF, as the layout for every response. Each time someone submits, their filled copy is saved as a PDF to the Google Drive folder you picked.

Let's start. Upload your form as a PDF and follow the steps below.

Sync filled forms to drive

  • Upload your PDF and click Proceed. On "Do you need the signed document to match your original PDF?", select Yes, keep my PDF exactly as it is and click Continue.
  • Check the fields and click Proceed. On "How do you want the signature?", select Create a reusable link for recurring forms and click Continue. Click View signed documents.
  • Click on "Signed PDF" tab
The tabs PDF Template, Form, Preview, Share, Signed PDF and Responses, with Signed PDF marked
  • Click Save to Google Drive
The Signed PDF tab's bar with the Save to Google Drive button marked
  • Select the preferred folder and click Next
  • Select the page you want to save to Drive and click Proceed
  • Authorize Google Drive access to complete the setup.
This will create a subfolder for the PDF documents generated when the user submits the form. Additionally, if you are collecting files or signatures in your form, this option will automatically create separate subfolders for each file upload and signature question, syncing the files to their respective folders.
To collect responses, click on "Share" tab, copy the link and share it with your users.

Summary

If you save each filled form to Google Drive by hand, it takes time. With Formesign, each response is saved as a PDF in the layout of your own form and synced to your Google Drive folder when a user submits the form. Upload your form as a PDF and complete the steps above. If you have any questions, write to support.
